About me

 

My love of baking started when I was a little girl going up in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I would watch my mom and grandmother baking during the holidays. They both welcomed my curiosity and gave me small tasks in the kitchen, such as measuring the dry ingredients, cracking eggs and rolling out dough, etc. Over the years, I’ve dabbled with baking for coworkers and friends and gained great satisfaction from their feedback. Thus, breathing life into Nivian’s Sweet Delights.

 

Relocating to South Florida after the great recession, I stopped baking to focus on pursuing other opportunities.  Fast forward to August 2019, when I hosted my first dessert tasting (but it won’t be my last) at my home for my closest friends and clientele, turned out to be a huge success. It gave me insight into what desserts were appealing to my clients and I’ve kept up the momentum ever since then.
